The Inner Song

Whatever you do, do not stifle
The Inner Song within you.
The melody you were born with,
The fusion of that harmony,
Into your very being.
The palpable beats of your heart
Synchronizes with your footsteps,
To unleash the music.
The tune orchestrates in you,
While I put the words on your lips,
And a song in your heart.
Unlock a chord, strike a note
To put you one with me,
As we unchain the melody.

- Charles Srinarayan (circa 1980)

The Search

……… Whatever you cannot ever possess or ever claim to possess, you love. What words cannot describe nor visuals attempt to capture for posterity, what you lose at the slightest touch ; what is unquestionably and memorably mortal is that which you love, which you can never do without.

The great quest for, forever leads precisely there. Everything else is illusory. The quite tragedy of a line that leads nowhere, a word that falters in its innocence.

I am happy this way….. lost, vulnerable, searching for something I know I can never find. For the wanderings are always more fascinating than the journey’s end. The words that fail are the most consolable. The memories that stray are the loveliest. The images of those most blur are those that reach me in the quietude of the night.

The love that conquers silence and urges you to speak in your own voice – to lend urgency for a guy’s search for himself and his destiny

……………………. and the search continues.
